Stakeholders
SmartPower’s early success was in large part due to our collaborations with Environment Northeast, Clean Water Fund and the Inter-religious Eco-Justice Network.  We assembled this coalition to help build a viable clean energy market in Connecticut.  SmartPower has continued to work with stakeholder groups in every market where we are building a clean energy consumer base.

Working with local community groups was also at the heart of our success in the Pennsylvania Clean Communities Program.  Our Watts for Breakfast and Clean Energy Summit are initiatives that bring together all groups engaged in the process of spreading the clean energy message in the marketplace.  SmartPower believes that working with community groups, power marketers, utility companies and clean energy funds collectively is the most effective way to achieve market success.

In addition to the groups mentioned above, SmartPower has also worked with organizations such as the Sierra Club, ICLEI, the Center for Ecological Technology and many others.

There is nothing more powerful than collaborative marketing and SmartPower is committed to working with local stakeholder groups to build strong local clean energy markets.

If you are interested in further promoting clean energy or energy efficiency in your region and feel that SmartPower might be a valuable collaborator, please contact Jonathan Edwards.

We need a neutral player like SmartPower to help build the marketplace and create a stronger message about clean energy.
